On Monday, 5 November 2018, in the evening at 19:15, in Kaunas, on Partizanų street, at the junction with Birželio 23-iosios street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mazda 323 F and an Audi A3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Mazda, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.68‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
