On Friday, 20 October 2017, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kaunas, on Birželio 23-iosios street, at the junction with Partizanų street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Audi (18 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
