On Saturday, 10 November 2018, in the afternoon at 14:50, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Naikupės street, an Opel Astra hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 13-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Opel (21 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
