On Sunday, 25 November 2018, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Kovo 11-osios street, at the junction with Partizanų street, a collision occurred. The collision involved an Audi A3 registered in Great Britain and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Audi (3 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
