On Thursday, 6 December 2018, in the evening at 18:08, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Kovo 11-osios street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Smart 0.8 and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Smart, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
