On Sunday, 29 December 2019, in the evening at 21:25, in Kaunas, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Kovo 11-osios street, a Volvo V70 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 29-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Volvo (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
