On Sunday, 20 January 2019, in the afternoon at 12:41, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 57.95), a Volvo V70 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Volvo (23 years of driving experience), who exceeded the speed set by traffic rules or road signs.
