On Friday, 1 February 2019, in the afternoon at 14:32, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Spengių village, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) national road (kilometre 219.70), an Alfa Romeo 156 rolled over. Three people were injured — the 35-year-old driver of the Alfa Romeo (hospitalized), a 6-year-old passenger of the Alfa Romeo (treated as an outpatient) and a 68-year-old passenger of the Alfa Romeo (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Alfa Romeo (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
