On Saturday, 16 February 2019, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Plungės district municipality, on V. Mačernio street near No. 39, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Skoda Octavia and a Hyundai ix35. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Hyundai (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. The driver was sober.
