On Saturday, 27 April 2019, in the afternoon at 12:40, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 14.30), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Opel Vectra and a Porsche Panamera 4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (3.06‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
