On Saturday, 6 November 2021, in the morning at 5:30, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 13), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a vehicle, a Krone SD and a Volvo FH12.500. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
