On Thursday, 2 May 2019, at night at 2:45, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 59.90), a Volvo FH12 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Volvo (33 years of driving experience), who fell asleep at the wheel. The driver was sober.
