On Thursday, 20 June 2019, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 68, at the junction with Žemaičių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A8 and a Seat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Audi (3 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
