On Friday, 28 June 2019, in the afternoon at 16:09, in Kaunas, on Pramonės pr., at the junction with Kovo 11-osios street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz Actros 1841, a Mado, a MAN and a Schmitz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (24 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
