On Saturday, 10 August 2019, in the morning at 8:30, in Kaunas, on S. Žukausko street near No. 19, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Touran and an Opel Signum. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 78-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (51 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
