On Tuesday, 17 September 2019, in the morning at 8:30, in Šiaulių district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 17.91), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Scania (32 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. The driver was sober.
