On Sunday, 20 October 2019, in the evening at 20:50, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 111), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. Two people were injured — the 46-year-old driver of the Opel (hospitalized) and a 25-year-old passenger of the Peugeot (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Peugeot (3 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. All drivers were sober.
