On Thursday, 28 November 2019, in the evening at 18:40, in Kaunas, on K. Baršausko street near No. 89, at the junction with Kovo 11-osios street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Mitsubishi Outlander and an Audi 80 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Mitsubishi (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
