On Thursday, 11 June 2020, in the evening at around 19:00, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street near No. 150C, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320 and a Nissan Micra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 66-year-old driver of the BMW (41 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
