On Monday, 22 June 2020, in the evening at 17:23, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Mickų village, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) national road (kilometre 218), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320 and an Opel Zafira. One person was injured — a 60-year-old passenger of the Opel (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW (5 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
