On Saturday, 27 June 2020, in the morning at 10:30, in Šilutės district municipality, on the Šilutė–Užliekniai regional road (kilometre 4.50), a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a MTZ Belarus-80 and a Yamaha. One person was injured — the 22-year-old driver of the Yamaha (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the MTZ (6 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
