On Monday, 29 June 2020, in the evening at 21:28, in Prienų district municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai main road (kilometre 33), a DAF FT XF 105.460T registered in Poland rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the DAF (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
