On Monday, 21 June 2021, in the morning at 7:26, in Prienų district municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 31), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a DAF, a Schmitz Cargobull and an Audi A6 Avant. One person was injured — the 36-year-old driver of the Audi (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the DAF (27 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
