On Sunday, 5 July 2020, in the morning at around 6:00, in Kaunas, on Marijampolės pl., at the junction with Raudonojo Kryžiaus street, a BMW 3ER Reihe ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the BMW (24 years of driving experience), who was driving fatigued. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
