On Friday, 10 July 2020, in the afternoon at 11:02, in Kaunas, on K. Baršausko street near No. 66, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a DAF registered in Latvia, a BMW 320D and a Fruehauf registered in Latvia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the DAF (31 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. The 27-year-old driver of the BMW had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 30 km/h.
