On Thursday, 12 November 2020, in the evening at around 19:00, in Raseinių district municipality, Berteškių village, on Laukų street, a Peugeot 406 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
