On Tuesday, 9 February 2021, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 121.20), a Seat Altea ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Seat (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was snowing, the road surface was snow-covered. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
