On Monday, 7 June 2021, in the morning at 8:33, in Vilniaus city municipality, Neravų village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 15), a Volkswagen hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.86‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
