On Saturday, 23 October 2021, in the evening at 18:50, in Kaunas, on Verkių street near No. 6, a Mazda hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 80-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Mazda (13 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
