On Friday, 29 October 2021, in the afternoon at 12:30, in Šakių district municipality, Duobiškių village, on Vėjo street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a BMW 7ER Reihe and a Toyota Avensis. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the BMW, who entered the oncoming traffic lane.
