On Saturday, 4 December 2021, in the evening at 19:45, in Klaipėda, on Sulupės street near No. 11, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Fiat Punto and an Audi A4 WW. Audi S4. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Fiat, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
