On Sunday, 10 April 2022, in the morning at 9:45, in Prienų district municipality, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai main road (kilometre 34.30), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The accident was caused by the 42-year-old driver of the Ssang Yong (22 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
