On Tuesday, 5 July 2022, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Elektrėnų street near No. 1A, a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a Volvo V70, a Skoda Octavia and an Aprilia SR 50. One person was injured — the 17-year-old driver of the Aprilia (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 64-year-old driver of the Volvo (26 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. All drivers were sober.
