On Saturday, 16 July 2022, in the morning at 7:27, in Šilalės district municipality, Klabų village, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 212.90), a BMW 320I rolled over. Five people were injured — the 34-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient), a 32-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient), a 34-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient), a 32-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient) and a 26-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the BMW (16 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
