On Friday, 5 August 2022, in the evening at 20:18, in Kaunas, on Jotvingių street, at the junction with Rasytės street, a Dacia hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Dacia (2 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. He fled the scene.
