On Sunday, 4 September 2022, at night at 0:48, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 47), a BMW 5er Reihe ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW (13 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
