On Thursday, 8 September 2022, in the evening at 21:27, in Prienų district municipality, Grigaliūnų village, on the Kaunas–Marijampolė–Suvalkai main road (kilometre 24.03), a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and an Opel Astra-G-Caravan registered in Czechia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene.
