On Friday, 16 September 2022, in the afternoon at 15:40, in Kaunas, on Tunelio street near No. 2, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Solaris Trollino 12. Two people were injured — a 65-year-old passenger of the Solaris (hospitalized) and a 65-year-old passenger of the Solaris (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the BMW (12 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
