On Monday, 26 December 2022, at night at around 23:00, in Šiauliai, on Vilniaus street, at the junction with Serbentų street, a Volvo XC60 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Volvo (28 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
