On Friday, 13 January 2023, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Karo Ligoninės street near No. 6, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Neoplan and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Neoplan (30 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
