On Wednesday, 25 January 2023, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Kėdainių district municipality, Pagilupio village, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 43), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Superb and a Renault 18 registered in Estonia. Two people were injured — the 20-year-old driver of the Skoda (hospitalized) and a 28-year-old passenger of the Skoda (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Skoda (3 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. Both drivers were sober.
