On Sunday, 6 August 2023, in the afternoon at 15:26, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 79.37), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Opel Omega-B-Caravan, a BMW and a Skoda Superb. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Opel (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
