On Friday, 8 September 2023, in the evening at 19:26, in Kauno city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 102.10), a Volvo FH12 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 74-year-old driver of the Volvo (40 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober.
