On Tuesday, 28 November 2023, in the afternoon at 16:35, in Kauno district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 113.30), a Mercedes-Benz 2024 registered in Estonia hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 87-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (65 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
