On Wednesday, 27 December 2023, in the afternoon at 12:49, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Purmalių village, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta d. pusė) main road (kilometre 8.70), a Subaru Outback ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Subaru (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance.
