On Sunday, 14 January 2024, in the evening at around 20:00, in Ukmergės district municipality, Paberžės village, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 60.32), an Opel Zafira rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Opel (26 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was snowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
