On Wednesday, 3 April 2024, in the afternoon at 16:28, in Kaunas, on Jurbarko street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Prius and a KIA Motors. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to give way when changing direction. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
