On Thursday, 16 July 2020, in the evening at 18:50, in Kaunas, on Jurbarko street, at the junction with Šauklių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz A160 and a Solaris Trollino 12. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 71-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (41 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
