On Friday, 12 April 2024, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kaunas, on Panerių street near No. 77, at the junction with Varnių street, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a BMW and a Skoda Superb. One person was injured — the 41-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Skoda (15 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
