On Tuesday, 21 May 2024, at night at 0:55, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Pasvalys–Ryga main road (kilometre 45.50), a BMW 320D registered in Latvia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the BMW (19 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. The driver was sober.
